Poo Poo Talk and Pine Cone Scrapes

This morning I almost had to fish paint bottles out of the litter box. Luckily, I caught the little booger in the act and saved my paint from becoming...ewww. Thankfully, no cat doo doo was touched. Not a big fan of inside doo doo boxes or inside pets for that matter. So innocently she looked up at me and blinked, then she turned to toss in the bottle of paint! She got busted and grinned a bunny grin:)

Liza looks like a bunny. She has two teeth on the top and two teeth on the bottom. Her smile is contagious. I have been trying really hard to get the perfect picture of her teeth. They are so cute!

Yesterday Will told me that they had music at school. When I pick him up I always ask ...Was it Art, Music, or P.E. today? It was music yesterday. He told me that they are going "to the nursery home to sing Halloween songs in their costumes for the old womens." They should get a kick out of that! I think that's great. They're going to Covenant Place to sing for the old womens there:)

I asked Will what he wanted to be for Halloween this year......Ninja turtle (again) arrgghh......I think not! I think that he thinks that he's supposed to be a ninja turtle perpetually for Halloween. I'm kinda Ninja turtled out...really. He's 5 now, and that year from 4 to 5 is a huge year of growth. He's mature enough to dig the Halloween scene like it should be dug! He just doesn't know it yet. This year will actually be fun for us both.

Liza is going to be Raggedy Ann for Halloween! I have a big Raggedy Ann doll and the clothes will fit Liza Perfect. The costume will be complete with bloomers. I have been trying to find red and white striped tights online..... no such luck....

Earlier this week Will fell on a pine cone. His leg looked like a bear clawed him. Ouch! It really did look like it hurt. What a mighty pine cone attack! Of course,I was the very sympathetic mom with the Neosporine handy and the maternal OOhhhs and AHHHS over the scrapes. He milked it big time. He told me, "The pine cone hurt my leg really bad. All the way up to Jesus!"
The next morning we were running late and he said that we were running late all the way up to God. Sadly, we are always running late all the way up to God.

Will wanted to ride with my aunt Debbie to take her Grandma Jack Sunday dinner. So, he did. He came back and told me that he found Edgar a wife and that her name is Mary. Awww..Edgar and Mary. How sweet. He's thinking of ways to get rid of Edgar, so that he can get a hamster! He found some change and told me that he was saving for Disney World and a hamster. Hamster? Who on earth has mentioned a hamster? It turns out that he went with Mom to a garage sale Sat. and there was a hamster cage for sale. I used to have hamsters. I had three at different times growing up. My first one was named Nibbles. I wouldn't mind having a hamster. I like hamsters. I can deal with a hamster. We will see....As for cats and litter boxes...gross. I've had it with Edgar. Really.

Last week Will went to see Lee's horses with Gigi. She was shoveling horse and fox poop out of the stables. Very seriously he asked her...Is this a Poop Farm? He was mesmerized by the dung and talked about it all that afternoon and the next day. He's going through a phase with poo poo talk. Poo poo head. Poopy in your pants phrases. What is the deal? And he's getting in trouble saying it too. Imps.

Eatin Good in the Neighborhood

I made Sunday dinner:) It turned out really good. Smothered chicken with apricots and prunes over linguine.
